Akcie Barrick Gold rostou po zprávě Reuters o vyřešení sporu o těžbu v Mali

Akcie společnosti Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE:GOLD) vzrostly o 2,4 % poté, co společnost dosáhla dohody s malijskou vládou, což znamená ukončení téměř dva roky trvajícího sporu o těžbu v zemi.

Růst akcií Barrick Gold přišel v návaznosti na zprávu, že kanadský těžební gigant podepsal dohodu, která by mohla vyřešit spor s Mali ohledně dolu Loulo-Gounkoto. Podle agentury Reuters, která se odvolává na zdroje obeznámené s touto záležitostí, dohoda čeká na formální schválení malijskou vládou, přičemž oficiální oznámení se očekává v brzké době.

Podle podmínek navrhované dohody Barrick Gold odškodní malijskou vládu částkou 275 miliard CFA (přibližně 438 milionů USD). Tato platba má zajistit propuštění zadržených zaměstnanců, vrácení zabaveného zlata a obnovení provozu ve sporné těžební lokalitě.
